(Thursday, January 10th, 12:30pm)

Audrina swung her purse over her shoulder as she pushed open the doors to the gym. There was a sharp pain in her temple and she needed to escape the chaos and noise of the rest of the school for a while. She hadn't slept well that night as her older brother and his friend Charlie had spent half the night yelling at the TV while they played some pointless video game. The lack of sleep was beginning to bother her and she needed a break.

Her stomach gave a grumble as Audrina sat on one of the many empty bleachers. She spread a floral handkerchief across her lap and opened the small container containing her salad.

Otylia was passing by the gym when she saw Audrina. She felt bad when people ate by themselves so she decided to go in and eat with her. She was going to lunch anyway.
"Hey, Audrina!" Otylia waved to her with a huge smile on her face.

Audrina grimaced slightly from the Phantom's loud greeting. She appraised the girl lightly and pushed the slightly disgusted look off her face, replacing it with something a bit more neutral.

"Hello," she said coolly. The Kitten delicately speared a leaf of lettuce with her fork and placed it in her mouth. While chewing, she rubbed her head absentmindedly.

"Are you okay? You look a little down."

It seemed like being a kitten meant you had to be miserable all the time. Otylia could not remember a time when she saw Audrina happy.

She sat down right next to Audrina and took out her lunch. No one liked to be alone and being a kitten was no exception to that.
